About this tool

Create favicons for your site from an uploaded image or from a short text/emoji on a colored background. The tool generates PNG files at the standard favicon sizes (16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 px) and lets you download each one. Everything runs locally in your browser.

How to use
  1. Choose image or text mode.
  2. For image mode, drop a logo or icon; for text mode, enter up to 2 characters (or an emoji) and pick colors.
  3. Preview the generated favicon sizes and download the PNGs you need.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The favicon is generated entirely in your browser.

Which favicon sizes do I need?

16 and 32 px for the browser tab, 180 px for Apple touch icons, and 192 / 512 px for Android and PWA manifests.
