About this tool

Drop any image to resize it by percentage or a target width, choose the output format (JPEG, PNG, WebP) and quality, and watch the new dimensions update live — click Convert to generate the re-encoded preview and see the resulting file size. JPEG is re-encoded with the MozJPEG codec and PNG with an indexed palette + OxiPNG, all inside optimized WASM running in your browser. Download the optimized image with one click — your image never leaves your device.

How to use
  1. Drop an image, or click to browse and select one.
  2. Choose the resize mode, output format and quality.
  3. Watch the new dimensions update live, then click Convert to generate the preview and file size.
  4. Click Download to save the optimized image.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing, re-encoding and preview all happen in your browser using optimized WASM codecs. Your image never leaves your device.

Which formats can I export?

JPEG, PNG and WebP. JPEG is re-compressed with MozJPEG (quality slider), PNG uses an indexed palette with a color-count and dithering control, and WebP uses the browser's native encoder.

Can I just convert a format without resizing?

Yes. Pick the Auto resize mode and choose a new format or quality. The image keeps its original dimensions but is re-encoded.

Is there a size limit?

Input files are capped at 50 MB. The output image is clamped to a maximum of 8192 px on the longest side so the browser stays responsive.
